I do not like Patrick Reed.

I'm hearing from a friend of mine that his situation is overblown. He was expelled from Georgia, true. But not for theft or any of the other stuff that's been reported. He got really drunk and acted like a belligerent college student.

Having said that, I still can't pull for him.

It is hard to believe he did not cheat. He was accused of doing it at UGA and by his teammates at Augusta State.

His UGA Coach is on record as saying he was not expelled due to theft or cheating. It was because of two separate problems with alcohol. His coach never said he was not caught stealing or cheating only that he was not expelled for those reasons.

Hard for me to believe it is overblown when it happened at two different schools.

I don't know one way or the other, and don't really care. I just know that he is not going to be someone I pull for. I like his competitive spirit when playing in the Ryder Cup, but his personality rubs me the wrong way. I would love to see JT, Bubba or Ricky kick his butt tomorrow.

Guys, guys, it's GOLF.  No need to succumb to rumors.  I'm not a fan of Reed either, but he certainly is playing like a champion.

Hopefully he gives back a few strokes today and allows JT a chance to win.

Inside info about the leaders from Golf Channel (paraphrased). 
"Reed's drive success this week, which features a new technique and a new Ping G400 LST driver, will likely suffer today from the conditions.  Look for Rory to outdrive him substantially, evening the lead early in the round."

Phil wearing a support wrap on his wrist today, but playing well.  He's -2 after 3 holes today, but still +5.

Tiger teed off well on #1, as he did the past 2 days, but he still hasn't gotten better than bogey on the hole with the 2 drives Friday and Saturday.  Maybe today!

FINALLY!!  Tiger's approach is great, leaving him just 5' below the hole.  Better get this!!
