Bogey for Tiger on the par-3 16th.  Tough break; stuck in the fringe after a good iron shot.  His putt from there was steeply downhill; close, but raced past 8'.

Tiger on #17 from the first cut....

hits a curling shot right at the pin, and it spins left to 15' away.  Birdie chance.  He needs to get pars to finish and make the cut.  A birdie would be big here, because the 18th has a narrow fairway, and is a tough hole.

Tiger burned the rim of the hole.  PAR.  He's at -4 and needs a par on #18.

You guys had me so fired up about the Masters that I took off from work and played golf.  Embarrassed

FWIW, I shot well again, an 81. If not for a Masters-like 4 putt on #14, I would have broken 80 again.

Tomorrow, the weather will be crummy here and in Augusta. I hope it doesn't come down to none of us playing tomorrow.

Haven't heard.

But I just walked outside.  It's 40 degrees and 20k winds.  Can you imagine that tomorrow in Augusta?  The weather here now should be in Augusta for Sunday.  If they mow the greens as short as usual, the scores will all be par or worse!

Weather is on the Golf Channel now.  80% chance of rain starting at 11AM in Augusta.

Patrick Reed is playing solid golf. I do not know much about him so I looked him up. Born in San Antonio, TX. When to High School in Baton Rouge, LA. Signed with Georgia and played there until he was expelled. He transferred and finished his college career at Augusta State located in Augusta, GA.

He also has a past of cheating and shaving strokes from his scorecard during college. He was also accused of stealing from his teammates while at Georgia.

I will not be pulling for him this weekend.
