I got it when Kiff first came in to consult on the O.  I got it with Sark.  They are both respected O minds.

I don't get it with Butch.  What specialty does he bring?

Analysts are not allowed on the field in any active capacity (even in practice), and according to the players, they almost never saw Sarkisian when he was in that role.

Butch was most likely brought in to watch endless hours of high school film, as player evaluations is considered one of his strong suits.  I'm sure he'll also do some film breakdown of opponents when the season gets closer. 

With that said, Saban had rather have Hugh Freeze doing the job.  Rumors have it that the SEC office suggested that not happen.
