I watched a little bit of the men's short program figure skating while I was doing some of my school work.  I'm not really interested in the sports that require a panel of judges to determine how good or badly the performances are.  I think the only sports that should be in the Olympics should be the one's that the athletes themselves determine the winners by either being the fastest, strongest, or score the most points...

I didn't much enjoy the figure skating either.
The moguls were more fun, and amazing talents.

I totally agree Mr NALT. It is a sport not a cake decorating table. RTR!

LF and I watched the Opening Ceremonies last night.  Spectacular!  Beautiful setup, lots of fireworks and technology, and well choreographed.

If there's one thing the North Koreans know, it's choreography.

We're looking good on the snowboarding, okay on the figure skating, and stole a medal on the luge.  Good stuff.

Let's keep the political stuff in the other forum, guys.

OAR = Olympic Athletes from Russia.  I think the whole country and its athletes should be disqualified for cheating (doping) in the Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

I can't really watch hockey on TV, unless it is a Final.

Shaun White (The Flying Tomato) looked like his teenage self (minus hair) in the half-pike competition yesterday.  Even though several snowboarders had already qualified, they decided to try and one-up each other on their second qualifying runs, and SW came out on top in impressive fashion.  Hope he can duplicate in the rounds that count.

 Sad Sad

OMG, USA's Emily Sweeney CRASHED BADLY in luge.  She spun off her luge and slammed into the wall with her head.  She is up and standing now.
