Consider that Nick Saban's staff on Monday night included only 2 assistants who were there in 2015.  Tosh Lupoi and Burton Burns.  Every other position had turned over.

Maybe that's why CJP stayed.  

He certainly earned that bonus.  Defense was awesome in both games.

Speaking of CJP, I haven't heard any mention by fans, media or us on the forums, what a great job he did in the playoffs. He didn't have to stay, but he did, and for that, I will be eternally grateful to him. I never in a million years thought I would wish anybody good luck who was going to Tennessee, but..........nah! can't bring myself to do it. 

But I will always thing positively about Coach Pruitt.

Several have said that this may have been CNS's best coaching job yet, and I am hard pressed to disagree. With so many injuries on defense, and the offense sputtering at times (particular in the Game That Shall Not Be Named), the coaching staff and the players really pulled together and did what they had to do to achieve the mountaintop again.

Yep, we're riding the crest.  Usually ya don't recognize it's the crest until the wave breaks.  But we're atop it.
