Henry Ruggs was on the practice field after leaving Davis Wade Stadium in a boot Saturday night. He was among the players banged up but not sidelined for practice Tuesday.

Never in my life have I seen a Bama team more crippled. If we win the Natty this year, it will be just short of a miracle.

True dat.  But...if we can somehow win at Barn and in SECCG, then there is a long time for some of the guys to get well before the first playoff game.  But getting through those two games is going to be a big challenge.

Not nearly as worried about the SECCG as I am the barn. I actually like our chances past the IB, if we make it that far.

I'm thinking we'll need to hold on for dear life in the first half, and not let the barn build a lead on us. Try to keep it close, and beat them in the 2nd half. If we can silence that crowd up like we did the cow bells, that game will be ours.

I think we HAVE to get through Mercer without aggravating or adding to the injuries we already have.  Games like this one are notorious for injuries too.  If we can get through without worsening or adding to the injuries then I feel we have a good chance in the IB.  It will still be tough but IMO, definitely winnable.  I said before the FSU game that our toughest two games will be FSU and Awbren.  Unless I missed anything then that was spot-on.  I  know that Miss St. played us very tough end to end but had FSU's QB not gotten eliminated then that game would likely have been totally different.   No way to know for sure though...
