I am satisfied with everything I see except TCU being so high. There are 2 8-0 teams that should both be ahead of them in my reasoning. Does anybody think different here? RTR!
Don't forget Central Florida, which is also undefeated.
Neither UCF nor Wisconsin have played any ranked team. I think only one or two of their opponents even have winning records.
So I don't have a problem with the committee not rewarding them for playing a weak schedule.
Miami still has to play Virginia Tech and Notre Dame, plus (probably) Clemson if it makes it to the ACC Championship Game. So while they aren't ranked high yet because of their competition, if they win out they will be in the playoff.
Wisconsin probably won't play a ranked team until the Big10 Championship. While Michigan is currently 24th, they still have to play Ohio State and Wisconsin, so probably not ranked after those two games. Some are questioning whether Wisconsin can get into the playoffs even if undefeated, although I think they will get in if they can beat (Ohio State or Penn State) in the Big10 Championship. They should qualify as an undefeated Power5 Conference Champion.
