BIRMINGHAM, Alabama - His team wasn't going to lose the game, but at that moment, the big picture didn't matter to Bobby Petrino.

When his quarterback overshot his receiver on third-and-goal in the sec­ond quarter last weekend against Troy, the Arkansas coach lost it.

He turned his headset into a projectile. He mocked his quar­terback's throwing motion.

The only thing missing from the tirade was a good spanking.

Why was Petrino able to channel his inner Nick Sa­ban so easily?

Isn't it obvious as Arkan­sas and Alabama get ready to play somebody their own size for the first time this season?

Saban is in Petrino's head. He has to be.

Petrino's on the verge of becoming an elite head coach. Saban is already there.

Petrino has Arkansas on the brink of becoming a championship program.

Alabama's the model under Saban. His program has been ranked No. 1 in each of the past three sea­sons and has put itself on the short list of legit na­tional championship con­tenders again for the fourth straight year.

As soon as I started reading the article I knew it was that SCAB bozo who had written it. I question his journalistic integrity.

I get tired of these so-called journalists using that tired phrase of "He's in his head." That's not how it works in the real world. It has more to do with the fact that coaches like Petrino & Saban are perfectionists who can't stand to see their players make mental errors. I sincerely doubt that thoughts of Bama were going through Petrino's head when he was yelling at Wilson. This is why no one takes journalists seriously anymore. They all get the same lousy education and they don't put any effort into researching and thinking before they write. Journalists today are lazy, and Scabs is just the worst example of it.
