After plenty of concerns about Alabama's depth issues with its running back unit, the group has answered the prognosticators with some solid production.
Junior running back Trent Richardson ran for 111 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-11 win against then-No. 23 Penn State. It was Richardson's fifth 100-yard rushing game at Alabama. He has played in 27 career games amassing 1,599 yards and 19 touchdowns for his career. Five of those touchdowns have come in the Tide's first two games.
