The new passing offense of Les Miles scored 14 points in 16-14 loss to unranked Wisconsin. Great looking offense there Les. Fans are going to be screaming for blood and I don't blame them. Same old conservative play-calling & poor QB play.

Actually 7 of those points came from a pick 6 I think.

MSU missed a FG SOUTH wins

Is Joey Jones still coaching down there?  I am wearing #4 as we speak.

Clemson beat the booger eaters last night in a relatively close game.  My question:  Are the booger eaters that good or has Clemson dropped off that much?

NALT I was wondering the same thing. Clemson sent some good people to the NFL and it too is the first game but as you know last year they got better as they went along. I see them hanging around 4 or 5 spot till playoff time. RTR!

I only saw what was played after the Bama game. Auburn was inept on offense. Seriously, they're a mess and I don't see much potential for improvement. They simply don't have the talent.

Defensively they played well, and Clemson wasn't playing at the same level they played against Oklahoma and Bama at the end of last year.  If you look at Clemson's regular season results last year, you don't see a team that you'd expect to blow out Oklahoma and put up 40 points on Bama. They elevated their game tremendously in the playoff, which is to their credit.  Fortunately for them, they won't face much competition in the ACC and the season will likely hinge on the FSU game.

Clemson is still sore about losing the Natty, so they let Auburn score late just to piss off many of us on this board by not covering the spread.

Is that the reason Dabo refused to kick that FG to go up by 9 points at the end?  Angry

That was questionable at best.

I have thought about that decision quite a bit and I struggle to see the strategy there.  The only thing I can come up with is that he thought the risk of a blocked FG returned for a TD was higher than Auburn driving the field against his defense for a TD.  But then they almost gave it away using the prevent D.
