It's a Penn State thing.

They teach a class in it every January, and you can't come to a football game here without stopping for a cone or a cup at the world-famous Berkey Creamery on campus on your way to Beaver Stadium....

That's when Chris Rumph's head exploded.  Alabama's intense new defensive line coach left the sideline to crawl in Damion Square's ear and leave a message there. Defensive coordinator Kirby Smart let the entire defense know how he felt, too.

That failure in the two-minute drill by the defense in a game already locked down may seem insignificant, but no moment on a football field is insignificant to this staff. That, as much as the talent they've assembled, explains why this program has put itself in the national championship discussion for the fourth straight season.
