Greg McElroy

Any QB that wins the national championship with broken ribs is legendary in my book.  Contrast that to the QB for the opposing team, who left the game after a handful of plays because his arm was numb he was scared.  He actually wrote his name in Crimson flame during the 2009 SEC Championship game.  "Let's go be champions boys!"  His tip toe down the sideline is around the 2 minute mark in that video.  He also had a heck of a block on a sweep during that game.

Greg's real girlfriend is from Decatur. She grew going to the same church we attend. Her parents still go there. We kid about looking forward to their wedding because of all the players that will be there. BTW, she's a good girl from a good family, but you already knew that if you know anything about GMAC.

IMO you are trying to compare apples to oranges. In 1961 Alabama had an outstanding team but the game was different. The players were smaller and not as strong and fast as in today's game. The good players played both offense and defense. Lee Roy Jordan was the center on offense and linebacker on defense.

I LOVE this thread. Genius idea. Infinite E-creds to Supercoach. Well, one for now, and I'll even come back in 15 minutes to give another just to prove my appreciation.  Applause E-Cred
