I assume we will go to Omaha since Creighton is the higher seeded team.
Quote
No. 5 seed Alabama will face No. 4 seed Creighton in the first round of the NIT Tuesday at 8 p.m. CT.

Both are 18-14.

The NIT will be an opportunity for the Tide to end a promising first season under first-year coach Avery Johnson on a positive note.

Without a single player that averaged more than 8.2 points per game last season, UA started 16-9 and 7-6 in the SEC, beat four ranked teams and won a game in the SEC tournament for the first time since 2013.

What makes this season any bit disappointing for Johnson and Alabama is that the Tide was so close to making that first NCAA tournament appearance since 2012.

Alabama, Florida, South Carolina and Georgia are in the NIT. LSU is left out.

A couple SEC teams really got shafted by not being invited to the dance. This has to be a letdown to SC and Ga.

Golly, I can't believe USCe didn't maker it. You know I believe our football prowess in the SEC makes the rest of the country so jealous that any way they can come up with to slight any SEC out of any tourney they will do it. I am really sick for some of our teams that should be playing, besides we beat Ole Miss and where are they at? RTR!

I may be wrong but it looks like Region 3 might be the toughest region out there. I see several teams that could've or should've been in the NCAA. I have to say I won't watch none of the NCAA tourney but I won't watch the NIT either because tomorrow the cable company can go away and their monthly cost. I got Netflix through my daughter and we can use the money to repair our home now. lol, Go Bama. RTR!

Some of the players got into a fight at practice yesterday and CAJ just loved it, said he's been looking for some of the players to get a little fired up. Let's see if any of that type of energy carries over into the game tonight. Wink

Nothing like a little late leadership.

I think a few of them would like to go play in Madison Square Garden. Cheesy

Good game for Tide against a Big East team. Good energy & movement, so far. 9-8 Tide.

Jimmy Taylor has boards for hands. He's mishandled the ball 3 times already.

Bama is ice cold. They must be shooting 10-15% from the field. Awful. Creighton leads 25-16.

Uggggggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! How blasted ugly was that first half? Bama shooting about 24% from the field and most of those were early.

Creighton leads 30-19. Apparently the team fighting amongst themselves in practice, didn't help.
