The barn closes out the year 11-20 (5-13). Pearl now has a 26-40 (39%) overall record and 9-27 (25%) conference record. His record is no better than Barbee who they fired to hire Pearl and not nearly as good as Lebo the guy before Barbee. They just lost the last past game in the SEC Tournament.

The SEC BB Tournament is the news of the day.  Here's the schedule:

Thursday, March 10 (Second Round)

Game 2: No. 8 Florida vs. No. 9 Arkansas (1 p.m., SEC Network)
Game 3: No. 5 Vanderbilt vs. No. 12 Tennessee (approx. 3:30 p.m., SEC Network)
Game 4: No. 7 Ole Miss vs. No. 10 Alabama (7 p.m., SEC Network)
Game 5: No. 6 Georgia vs. No. 11 Mississippi State (approx. 9:30 p.m., SEC Network)

Canty was their highest score (18 ppg), a couple of other players missed major time due to injuries including their point guard, & another guard. Losing 3 guards on a team is sure death. A prized recruit, 6'7' small forward Purifoy, was found ineligible. Really can't blame Pearl for this.
