He is not a full time starter. He has started 5 of our 9 games. He has only had 13 at bats compared to over 30 for the regulars. He has been effected when he plays. He is batting .385, 4 walks and 6 runs scored. He is 2-3 on stolen bases. He has played in 8 games. When not starting he is used as a pinch hitter and runner. He is a good addition to the team without using a scholarship since football is paying his way. We will lose him some this spring because he is cleared to play baseball when it does not interfere with football.

We play #8 NC State next at 3:30. Expect our starters to be back in the line up for this game. Jake Walters on the mound for the Tide.

I was watching the "Gametracker" and it looks like Hubbard was a little wild in the 6th inning, but no problems other than leaving a few too many runners on base. Another good win for Bama.

NC St is ranked #8 in the latest poll. As Jamos said the ACC is a good baseball conference. This was a good contest for us to see where our team is. We lost the game but this team looks better than any CMG has put on the field.
