I would like to encourage some of the new guys to play.  It is fun and easy, and you have a pretty good chance of beating us all.  It wouldn't be the first time someone won on their first week of playing.  All you have to do is go to this page to enter your picks before 11:00 AM Central tomorrow:  Click here for link

I don't like picking Bama against huge spreads-- I'm doing it, but it is against one of my principles of gambling.BTW, Bama as a dog is one of the best bets in football, JMHO.

It's going to be a long, long time before you get to bet on Bama as a dog again.  I'm not sure when it will be, but not before next October.

I am holding up the entire group from the bottom this week.

My grandma is OK considering.  She left the hospital today to go to a place with even more nurses and care.  My uncle (her son) is very wealthy and has spared no expense this time.  She was in a nice, but typical, nursing home.

When she came out of surgery she recognized the people around her and asked for another one of my uncles (the younger one who is in and out of trouble).  That is all positive.    Thanks for the t's and p's.
