Sad news. CGP has been a credit to the SEC since Mizzou joined the conf.  This news may hit CNS pretty hard.

Good luck to him. I hope he beats this and gets his health back. He should be financially secure. He had a pretty good run based on Missouri standards.

I have a football from signed by Coach Saban and Coach Pinkel from the 2014 SEC Championship game. Obviosly it is not game ball. I do not know how many they signed but I am glad I have one.

Sad news to hear...prayers that he is able to beat this one... He doesn't have a good track record in "championship" games.  This one is THE championship though so hopefully he will win it...

That is cool pmull, very nice...

I was detected with Lymphoma almost ten years ago and have been blessed with the progression of mine. There are two types of the disease, aggressive and non-aggressive and I was lucky that mine is the non-aggressive type. When it was first detected I was told I would have 6-8 years to live and trust me it was an eye opener, something that I never thought could happen to me.

My Oncologist now shakes his head when I go for my appointments and tells me that I am an amazing person in that my blood count has never changed since my first appointment with him which is very rare to happen. He said he has no answer for that only that it is amazing that it has happened that way and to keep doing what I have been doing.

I don't know the diagnosis of Coach Pinkel's cancer and I pray that he will be as fortunate as I have been. I credit the power of God for my good fortune and I'll be praying for the same with Coach Pinkel.

I hope his diagnosis is positive.

A lot of us have been blessed to know you, J.  You haven't wasted your extra years!
BTW, hope your visit to the dermatologist this week went well.

My prayers are definitely with CGP. It has been a rough couple of weeks for him with the goings on at UM on top of his health. I pray for his recovery. He seems like a class act.
