They're announcing week 2 of the selection committee votes. They are speculating where everyone will fall. Galloway, with turd breath, puts Bama at 3. Kannell thinks they are no better than #4, and he puts them there begrudgingly. Here is my shocked and amazed face:

Herbie thinks Bama should be #2.

I love it! No Baylor, no Okie State (no big 12), & no Iowa.

I would love for the final ranking to be just like that so Bama can beat OSU this year and coach Saban can give Meyer heart palpitations again and then put a whoopin on the winner of Clemson vs. ND...

Me too. But if Iowa wins out, they will be in. So likely would the survivor of Okie Light, Baylor and Oklahoma in the Big 12. But if ND wins out, especially with a win over Stanford, I think the Big 12 gets left out again. And don't sleep on NC. They can beat Clempson in the ACCCG. They are playing as well as anybody, right now.

Still a long way to go.

Yep, total chaos is within the realm of reality. Michigan beats Ohio State, Michigan St beats OSU, Iowa loses to Michigan State. Okie State loses to Oklahoma & Oklahoma beats Baylor. That would probably leave Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame/Stanford & maybe Michigan State in the playoff.

We are #2 with this selection committee.  As long as we keep winning, I don't care what else happens.  Winning cures everything!

I think a wise poster on this forum said several weeks ago that we control our own destiny and that Ole Miss would lose at least one more game.
