Nick Saban hints at progress in Duron Carter's status with Alabama

Saban was asked if there was any update concerning Carter.

"You know, I have some information, but at this point, I'll believe it when I see it. Is that fair?" Saban said. "Can you read between the lines at all? You guys write -- do you read between the lines in what you write?"

Saban then collected some papers and a pair of glasses, said goodbye and exited.

Carter has three years to play two seasons once he arrives.

Sounds like someone in the admissions office has verbally told Saban that Duron should be good be he's awaiting on the official word admission and the NCAA's clearinghouse in writing.
