Rumor Mill-Jeremy Pruitt Out at Georgia?

I don't think their D is that bad. The O is so terrible, that they're not on the field long enough to give the D players a breather.

You're missing it, 2.  They need someone to blame, and Pruitt is IT.

Oh, I understand that, and I'm by no means a Pruitt fan, but I've seen worse defenses. Just calling it as I see it.

But TODAY is the day it's blowing up.  Folks are calling for Richt's head, not the defensive coaches'.  Richt is pointing fingers in all directions, hoping to stay afloat.  It ends soon...

 

Well, Richt will be out anyway, and the assistants will be out the door with him. New coach will hire his own staff.

I have a few suggestions for them.

More info, mostly bad for Georgia.

Reports surfaced on Thursday claiming that there is tension on the Georgia coaching staff, specifically between coach Mark Richt and defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt. USA Today reported that "dysfunctional Georgia" could be "nearing big football changes," while ESPN's David Pollack -- a former Georgia Bulldog himself -- tweeted "it could be an interesting day in Athens today."

As for the relationship between Richt and Pruitt, USA Today reports that Pruitt will "almost certainly" not return in 2016, as the relationship between the two has "grown toxic."

There's another report from FoxSports.com's Bruce Feldman that says there's "friction" that stems from "the old guard Bulldog staff versus the new guard regarding many of the changes" in how the program is run, with Pruitt being at the center of it.

That is why you need someone at the top who runs things with an iron fist. This kind of stuff does not happen at Bama, and the reason why is Nick Saban.

BTW, does anybody think Saban would have to send out a tweet defending a coach, or anything about the FB program? Shows how dysfunctional things are in Athens.
