I have no trouble rooting for them, I once dated an alumni and went to a few games. Also, they wear something resembling crimson, and hate the color orange.

Texas schools seem to use hand signals to signify their allegiance.

For Texas, it is Hook Em Horns

For the Aggie, Gig em Aggies

Texas Tech does "Guns Up."  They'll throw tortillas onto the field during the game.
