Even after disappointing start, there's importance to Arkansas-Auburn

Quote
Saturday's game equates to a Disappointment Bowl to outsiders, but to players and coaches, it's a chance to gain some much needed second-half momentum. A win will ease only a fraction of this season's pain for either team, but it will show who's ready to fight in the final month and change.

Both teams probably need a win here for bowl eligibility.

Tough call. Which Arkansas team shows up? Auburn is awful on offense & defense, but they have a way of having the most incredible luck, sometimes. It's at Arkansas, so that should help.

True.  Arkansas' defense is suspect.  They had a hard time with Texas Tech and the Aggies, which have similar offenses to Auburn.

Also depends on which Auburn team shows up.  They looked a bit better against Kentucky.

But I expect both teams to show up.  This game has turned into a battle of the also rans with the rhetoric back and forth between head coaches getting pretty heated.  The fact that Malzahn is from Arkansas doesn't help.

I can't pick Auburn without getting a sick feeling in my stomach, so I have to go with the Hogs.  Playing at Arkansas is a tough out.

Arkansas driving again.  They are finding success in the passing game.

Huge run by Clemson on the QB keeper, zone read.  First and goal.
