Author Topic: Got a little bored so I did a little research:  (Read 3624 times)

I thought I would look at what teams that played Bama has averaged offensively for the year and what they gained vs Bama,

1.  Wis:  averages:  405.6  vs Bama 268 = negative 137.6
2.  ULM:  averages:  328   vs Bama  92 =  negative 236
3.  A&M:  averages:  453  vs Bama  316  = negative 137  They also got 5 additional offensive possessions because of the picks and fumble on the punt.
4.  Ark:  averages:  433.3 vs Bama 220  = negative  213.3
5.  UGa:  averages:  429 vs Bama  299  = negative  130
6.  MTU:  averages 443.9  vs Bama 275  = negative  168.9
7. OM:  averages 521 vs Bama 433  = negative 88.  They also had two fluke plays that went for 139 yards plus they had 3 extra possessions because of ints.

The one thing the defense shows is it's capable of holding any team. I wonder if this will have an effect on the group that will be ranking for the playoffs? RTR!

Not to create more work for you, Coach, but I suspect the rushing only stats would be even more impressive.
