Quote
As you’ve probably come to expect with LSU football under Messrs. Saban-and-Miles, the Tigers enter the 2011 season ranked fourth in the AP and Coaches Polls, and have earned several dark horse votes for a national championship.

Always a good bet to finish strong despite being coached by a registered agent of chaos, expect the Tigers’ favorable preseason bettors to desert them in the wake of Thursday night’s incident at Shady’s Bar.

Jordan Jefferson (very, very allegedly) kicking a United States Marine in the head  is bound to end in lively fashion.

Remaining options at quarterback, should Jefferson be disciplined, are Zach “Banned From Valdosta” Mettenberger and Jarrett “This Face” Lee.

LSU will find a way to win 10 games and make a BCS bowl this season regardless of whether Jarrett Lee, Jordan Jefferson or Zach Mettenberger is playing quarterback. (Bob Rosato/SI)

I keep saying that sooner or later Miles is gonna lose that horseshoe he has in his back pocket. Just watch, he'll come out of this mess smelling like a rose.  Huh?

I agree about the luck.

Miles has recruited great talent. Each year they reload. The players like him. His defensive coordinator Chavez is good. Miles is a good coach. Wins too many games not to be doing something correct.

Miles is to LSU football what Dale Brown was to LSU basketball.  Both recruit(ed) top players, and neither gets/got the best from them.  Thank goodness Miles is the idiot he is; LSU could be dominant.

Preacher, about 5 years ago, I was in charge of getting a Medicare Advantage market on its feet in Baton Rouge. I was there for a while, and it being a start-up market, our budget was low. We were put up at what we called "The Jimmy Swaggart Inn". It was actually called "Bluebonnet Towers", but was the former home to Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.

I saw an interview with the hooker who "exposed" Jimmy Swaggart during the 1980s.  It was revealing.  I agree with her; "wouldn't want my kids near that man".

Jimmy Swaggart's show is still aired on DirecTV. I read somewhere that he had a house that was worth $7 million.

Well, the reason you want Mettenberger, is because he is on the bench. Bama fans do the same thing. And oh, just wait until this season kicks off with one 5* starting and the other isn't.

BTW LSU has an awesome FETI. Went through their structural collapse school. Unbelievable!!!
