Found another roster and I think the #7 on the kick cover team is Tony Brown.

Just got to mention this.  Around the 13:05 mark of the fourth quarter and it shows Saban on the Sideline with Henry behind him.  Henry looks like a giant there.

People are not real happy.  I think they will give him this year but better win more than last year.

Excellent review, as always, hscoach.  Have an e-cred.   Applause E-Cred

It looked like we stacked the D-line, which allowed Wisconsin to throw short passes to TEs and RBs with success.  Our LBs had trouble staying with those receivers at times.  Please explain how we'd adjust to that in a closer game.  It seemed that we were resolved to giving up short passes to stop the run; true??

coach?
The other coach, Coach Saban, spoke about this on the Nick Saban Show.  He said Wisconsin's coach, having coached in the NFL, was familiar with Bama's defensive schemes and was exploiting this particular aspect, RBs on LBs.  So  Bama made some halftime adjustments, which Saban explained in a cryptic sort of way of what was done (I guess so as not to give too much away.)  Apparently it worked better in the second half, from what I saw even when a RB caught the ball he was immediately tackled for a 2 yard game.

Stats show Wisconsin was 4-5 on 10+ yard passes in the first half with 16 yards per attempt, with 3 completions that gained 20+ yards.  But in the second half Wisconsin was 3-8 on these pases with 5 yards per attempt, no 20+ yard completions and one INT.

Wisconsin was very good at "picking" the LB that was to be in coverage.  I know they pointed it out in the game once, but they did it more than once.

Saban said something in football speak that went over my head but you might have understood.   Laughing
