LA Lakers & Kobe Bryant

I was wondering when LA could get Kobe off their back. He's 36 or 37 and injury-prone. He has become a primadona that is adversely affecting the team & organization.

Mitch Kupchak has said Bryant is indicating that the 2015-2016 NBA season will be his last. Kupchak also said that giving free agents the perception that they can win and soon with their team is very important. Money and the chance to play next to a so-called star like Bryant isn’t enough. Obviously, Kupchak didn’t say the second sentence, but he, and a lot among the Lakers fan base, despite the delusional, rabid following Bryant gets for things he did in the past but no longer matter, are thinking that exact thing.

Kobe will be 37 when the NBA season starts, again. That means he would be a 38 year old free lancer in 2017. Just not sure who might take a chance on a 38 year old player who might be disruptive to the team.

Things started going down hill for the Lakers when Jerry West left to go to the Grizzlies, and they really tanked when Dr. Buss left his two kids in charge.  The son in particular seems to be an idiot.

Kobe was a great player but he has played too long past his prime and is tarnishing his image. He needs to hang it up and ride off into the sunset. If he wants to be a announcer, coach or team staff member that is fine but his playing days should be over.

Bingo He's the genius who signed 38 year old Steve Nash a 3 year deal to play PG. In 3 years he was mostly injured and played 41 total games and made $27 mil for his "performance."
