Tiger flopped to a 40 on front 9.

I have to admit that I am not familiar with most of the names at the top of the leaderboard. The guy that was leading yesterday (Jerry Kelly?) was a complete blank to me.

Oh I am sure it has been great so far. I haven't sat down and watched a tournament in quite a while, but I used to on Sunday afternoons with my Uncle Troy, who was an avid golfer. It was fun listening to him explain strategy to me. It has been hard to watch since he passed 14 years ago.  Sad

Maybe, though, it is time to pick it up again. Even though I have never played a single hole in my entire life.

I would probably end up like a comedian I heard once: "I spent so much time in the water and the woods, that I came out with an 8-lbs bass and a 9-point buck."

I'll take Little CB on my team. I only take winners on my team! I will supply the golf shoes.

That's good. He does not need to take the game too serious at his age. I just want want him on our team for his long drives. Me and 2 can handle the short game.

Justin Thomas, former Bama golfer, is having a great tournament. He is tied for 5th place at -8 after shooting the best round of the day at -7.  Applause E-Cred

Kirk is leading the tournament at -10.

Hey J, look at it this way. We may not be able to whip them at shooting golfs, but I bet we can keep up in the adult beverages department!

Ricky Fowler Wins!

I did not watch any of this tournament until late this afternoon. One of the best finishes I have seen. Several players had a chance to win or get in a playoff on the final hole. It ended up a three way tie. It was not sudden death. They all played thre holes 16-17-18. After the three holes Garcia was cut. Kinser and Fowler started sudden death at this point. They played 17 again and Fowler hit his shot to within 5 ft. Kinser missed his 15 ft putt and Fowler wins.
