Oh man that is horrible. I hope he don't have any permanent stuff wrong. Certainly be praying for him. RTR!

well, it's good it was in the face, the back of the neck or temple would have killed him instantly.  I imagine they are stabilizing the swelling right now and wireing some bones back together.  He will probably have to relearn some motor skills if it got him on the forehead.  These are all guesses based on personal knowledge of baseballs and head injuries.

The presence of the Baseball speed you can never move fast enough. I can't imagine the pain that one feels. I got hit in Little League but never by the big boys. RTR!

When I read the article earlier, it almost sounded like they were talking about him in the past tense. I am happy to hear that he is conscious and breathing on his on.
I also feel horrible for Brian McCann. I can't imagine what he is going through psychologically. Prayers to all at this time.

Yeah, he was pretty shaken up. They actually pulled him from the game when it happened. And unfortunately, the Braves lost pretty badly too. Tough day for the guys on the team...

I'm pretty sure their concentration was shot. Hopefully he'll make a full recovery.

Just shows how dangerous one those balls can be when hit just right. I always flinch when I am watching a game and see a foul ball just rocket back into the stands or into the dugout, because you have zero time to react to something like that. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Luis and family.
