"When we were in the huddle, I said 'Guys, this is the game,'" Sims said. "We can make history. We can sit down in December and watch other teams perform and get to the championship game, or we can do what we got to do."

That's what a leader does. Congrats, Mr. Sims.

I agree with you 2, he's not the best QB to ever play at Bama but he plays his heart out. That Crimson jersey means a lot to him.

Agreed. It is not an exact comparison and he will only have season to show this kind of ethic, but something about his leadership reminds me a little of Pat Trammell. Not the flashiest player and perhaps not the most talented, but he does what he needs to help his team achieve victory.

I'd take another NC (like 1961).   Kiss

College Football Final gave helmet stickers to Jarran Reed and Reggie Ragland.  Their words, "Old-fashioned slobber knocker SEC game."

Nice that the D-line and LBs got some love!

We still have an outside chance.

Lou Holtz also had Ohio State at #4 and Alabama at #5.  Angry

I know it doesn't matter, but I hope we haven't traded the "Michigan State should be in the playoffs" nonsense for "Ohio State should be in the playoffs".  At least we won't hear any more of the "Notre Dame should be in the playoffs" gibberish.

On a positive note, Rece Davis was calling Blake Sims "Big Hero 6".  Awesome nickname, and very fitting after last night.

This team has about 90% of the talent of last year, but about twice the heart.  I can't wait to see what they do next.

I hope Reggie will use his inside of his pants as "added" insurance in the event of another "unveiling."   Embarrassed
