He's doing okay.  Slow start, but other than taking a sack on 2nd and 1 when he could have thrown it away he's not making bad decisions. 

Or checking to a run on third and long...or doesn't pay attention to the play clock...- oh well, he's just not on in the first half. Hopefully he settles down.

On the play clock, in my opinion I believe the coaching staff relieved him of that duty early in the season.  It is one less thing for him to worry about.  Then CNS watches the clock and calls the timeout if we need to.
You can tell Sims watches the play clock by his reactions when time starts running down, but the coaching staff worried about the Timeout -- have we seen Sims call a TO this year?

I think he called 1 or 2 early, but then after a few delay of game penalties the coaches started calling them.  He definitely knows the clock is running down, but the coaches call the TO.
