The only reason Texas is ahead of us was all the "If Colt hadn't got hurt" shirts, bags, wallets, etc. they bought last year

Texas is ahead b/c it is a much bigger state.  I know fans are all over the country for both teams, but it does make a difference.

I've been doing some work w/ an NCAA fabric distributor.   He told me TX and Auburn hard to deal with.  I bet part of the reason TX sells more licensed stuff is TX trying to stick a license on anything with a cow or a hideous shade of orange on it.  Think about all the elephant or houndstooth things that are not licensed...a lot of that is techincally purchased to be Alabama gear but not counted toward the totals.  When is the last time you saw something that was ugly burnt orange or saw a kid carrying around a longhorn toy and it WASN'T a TX thing.

Yes, I have quite a bit of houndstooth that I bought because I can wear/carry it places that the officially licensed items would be inappropriate/unprofessional.

I bought a houndstooth patterned soft sided cooler at Kroger last week to use as my lunch bag.  Most people recognize it as being Bama gear.

Yall are all wrong.  Texas is ahead of us because everything has been sold twice.  Here is my logic.

1. Bubba buys his stuff two weeks before the National Championship Game.  (20.00 Shirt)
2. After Alabama beat the crap out of Texas Bubba donated is stuff to goodwill.

3. Goodwill then sells that 20.00 shirt to a Barner looking for work clothes to wear while cleaning out the barn.  ( Sell Price 10.00)

That is logic ladies and gentleman.  Their licensed junt was sold twice, while our fans keep the clothes untill they die.
