Tradition Video On Home Page

Love the tradition video.  Fortunately and unfortunately I remember most of those plays except the ones in leather helmets.  I liked seeing those with the white helmets too.

Miami has never really been the same since that 92 thrashing and the Longhorns are showing signs of heading down that same path.  Happy trails to them!!

By the way, if I have everything set up correctly, you should also be able to make comments on that post.  It is really just a topic in the Blogs section.  Or you can just click on the comment link on the home page to go straight to it.

Eventually the stuff on the home page will be formatted a little more like a normal blog and look less like a forum post.  But behind the scenes it will still just be a forum post.  The beauty of this is that we can promote any forum topic to a blog entry by simply moving it to the blog forum.  People can still reply to it just as before, but now we can make sure the good stuff gets put on the front page.  I think this will bring a lot of people back to the site on a regular basis.  If they don't want to read through all of the chit chat to find the nuggets, they can just read the front page and quickly get the best we have to offer here.

So instead of having only a few guys writing blog articles for us, potentially every person who creates a topic in the forum could end up being a blogger.  This is a very powerful idea.  We already have 60 potential bloggers here on just the first day.  I am excited to see how this turns out.  I really think this could be huge for us down the road.

That's a good idea. 

So far you have done a very nice job.  I think once word gets around, most of the whole crew will make it here.  Hope so as that is what will make the site strong as well as diverse.
