If nothing happens to Roy Williams, then like I keep saying, it's a whitewash. If a criminal investigation for fraud is going on, then some folks could go to jail for lying. Plus, are the feds investigating the fraud since tax dollars must be involved? Fascinating case. Chech, thanks for reviving this thread, good stuff.

Wainstein's October report found problems running from 1993 to 2011 and affecting more than 3,100 students, with athletes across numerous sports accounting for roughly half the enrollments in problem courses.

If the Feds get involved there would be jail time for lying and also for the crime for whoever did it at the time unless they are deceased. I think I am right? I always respected Dean Smith so I really hope he is not a part of this fiasco. RTR!

At a minimum they need to vacate all wins during that time frame. Remove championship, elite 8, sweet 16 and all NCAA banners fro those 18 years. They have vacated wins from other programs for much less. I am referring to basketball but this spanned over an entire athletic program. IMO this is every bit as bad as what SMU did to get the death penalty.

EXACTLY!! I just don't think the NCAA will do it unless it was an SEC or Big 12 team. Here's some of what UNC could lose since 1993.
