RE: You are a QB

We noticed during yesterday's game several instances in which you ran out of bounds well behind the line of scrimmage in response to pass rush pressure from the defense. As a reminder, the rules of college football state that on each play, one forward pass may be made. The rules for intentional grounding state that the ball may be flung into the stands as long as you are out of the tackle box. If you are about to cross out of bounds you are probably safely outside the tackle box. At that point, throwing the ball to a friendly face on the sideline or in the crowd could save precious yards and help with our overall aims regarding matters such as field position, and field goal scoring probabilities.

Thanks you for you attention to these matters.

But there were linemen down field.  It was a screen pass.

Sarcastic but funny and makes a good point.

No, he knew where they were.  So did Eli Gold, who pointed that out at the time.
And you probably owe him an apology for the letter of criticism that you posted above.
