Williams can play nearly every position in Alabama's secondary, but he primarily fills his time at "Star" and "Money," the extra defensive backs in the Crimson Tide's nickel and dime defenses. Because Alabama lines up in these formations the vast majority of time, the loss of Williams was essentially viewed as the loss of multiple starters.
