That is a quick way to get out of a based loaded with no outs situation.

Good 3-0 win for Bama over #20 Kentucky and a good way to start SEC play. Turnbull pitched 7.1 innings to get the win. Bama has won 7 in a row.

They call a double play a rally killer.

A triple play must be a game killer.

Watched the video over and over,

can't figure why the KY runner on third broke for home

He must have thought White caught it on the short hop

or maybe they had a hit and run on.

Either way, huge play for Bama.

I agree with you Lee. The man on 2nd base was dead but the man on third made a bad base running error. He had plenty of time to get back. He had to think White got the ball on a short hop.

What a great play! Bama shutting down an offensive juggernaut. Kentucky had been ripping the cover off of the ball until running into Bama.
