Kirk, a five-star prospect rated the nation's No. 1 wide receiver by the 247Composite rankings, told BamaOnline the offer was an important one to him and confirmed that Lane Kiffin will be his primary recruiter for the Crimson Tide.

"The coaches love me and said they need me in their offense. I talked to Lane Kiffin and he said him and coach (Nick) Saban sat down and watched my film. Coach Saban told him to go get me because he loves how I play." ...

Barnett has been committed to Notre Dame since last November but told BamaOnline the offer will be something he takes under consideration.

"I'm not wavering on my commitment, but it's Bama. They not only win games but send guys to the NFL every year. You have to put that into perspective and look at an offer from Alabama."
