So that player has to want to do that, to me. This is something that I think will become more and more popular with the high schoolers. They can enroll early and have their degree in 3 years which shorten their time for their educational goals. Maybe it will also encourage some of those that haven't been doing so well in the classroom to hit their books a little harder in the early years so they won't have to fight the eligibility issues their senior year.

But there's another side of this; those who see early-entry as an unfair advantage.  I don't think the NCAA will stop early-entry (they can't), but they might limit participation in spring practice that first year.

Right now there's no way the NCAA can stop it.

You are right about the early participation, some of these schools that recruit all of these players that barely qualify will protest it as being unfair.
