I don't think he was being reckless, but he was definitely being targeted by the Aubs.  Everytime he ran the ball they tried to yank it away from him.  He fought them off each time, but it probably wasn't worth taking a chance.  The last time he was in the game he started talking to the Auburn players after the play was over and bowed up when they weren't able to take it away from him.  So maybe they took him out because they thought he was about to get into a fight.

I noticed too that Auburn was seriously trying to strip Drake.

I had heard that loose lips had something to do with his lack of playing time but I wasn't sure whether it was on the playing field or on the sidelines.

I'm sure we all wonder "what if" Drake had more carries in the second half.  Huh? The way thing were going, probably would not have made a difference.
