Taken from ESPN:

"Let me say this about Jadeveon: If he doesn't play another snap here, we all should be thankful and appreciative that he came to South Carolina," Spurrier said. "We've won 26 games, two 11-2 years, the greatest seasons we've had in the history of this school in 120 years, so none of us need to be upset with Jadeveon, none of us."

So, I guess Ol ball coach is saying Clowny done done it all by his ownself..none of the other players had anything to do with it..Huh?  Ol Stevie is still kissing Clowny's butt..and Clowny is laughing in his face..that crap would never happen with CNS.

Ah, OBC just get over from being drunk, and had remorse for saying what he did..

I'm sick of the clowny crap, and glad we didn't get him.

I agree on not getting him. Reason is everybody on ESPN and elsewhere are making degrading statements bout him. Sure he wants to play in the NFL and yes he is scared he will get hurt. He would never have lasted at Alabama cause CNS would not have let him pull the team down to his level. RTR!

Finebaum played the actual comments. He was disgusted that Spurrier was having to kiss up to Clowney. He had an NFL analysts who said he did not think any of this would affect Clowney's draft status. I find that to be an incredible statement.

Man this is so sad when the players take over college football and tell the coaches when they are going to play. It is a scary thought to me. RTR!

I have a 6 year old soccer player on my team that behaves that way.

Are you going to hold a press conference and apologize for trying to tell him what to do?

No, I put him timeout.  I made him sit on the side line away from the rest of the team and face away from the field.  After sitting out for a couple of quarters he had a new attitude.

That would never work on Clowney.  He wants to sit out.  This kid wanted to play, he just wanted to tell me when he was going to play and when he wasn't.  If I put him in the game when he didn't want to play he would fake an injury within 2 minutes and start crying.

Wait... that is exactly like Clowney.  Laughing  Maybe a timeout would work after all.

No kidding. It's obvious you are not the kind and caring type of coach who thinks only of his players. You're one of those mean, snarly win-at-all costs types of coaches.

We almost won a game.  The other team didn't have enough players, so I let them have a couple of my guys (including this star player).  They decided to put the loaner players on defense.  We scored 3 goals on them before their other players got there.

Laughing

But then the loaners had to come back to my team to finish the game.  We lost 4-3.  Sad

The last game I found out we played the entire first half 1 man short.  It is supposed to be 6 vs. 6.  I put 6 boys on the field.  Apparently the other team played with 7.  The ref didn't notice until we came back out to start the 2nd half.  The other coach came over to apologize.  7 vs. 7 is optional if both teams have enough players and want to do that, but both sides have to agree to it before the game.  I told them not to worry about it, they probably would have beaten us with only 5 against my 6 (true story).  It is all I can do to get/keep my guys on the field, so I don't even look at what the other team is doing or count their players.  It does make me wonder how many games we have played 6 vs. 7 this year though.  I will be counting from now on.

Laughing

If we start winning I guess I will know what the problem was.

Embarrassed
