I saw a similar story earlier today. It seems the "Insider" for Tide recruiting ws named Lin and he is some kind of super nerdy recruiting fan who lost track of what the story was and what's importat in life. ESPN showed their understanding of this by firing him.

You know, it doesn't take a trained journalist to realize that you do not publish such a remark. It is simple common sense to realize that a few hours after the tragic death of a young man that you do not dwell on the depth chart. There will be time to talk about depth charts, but now is NOT that time.

in these days of shock and awe reporting & blowing things so far out that their not even close to the truth or what really happened and respect is out the window ... what happens ? crap like this

and don't forget their all to common eye grabbing tabloid headlines and teaser TV spots to build the drama with their world famous "scroll" at the bottom of the TV screen ....
so what do we get ?  a bad case of the "HEY MARCEL's" !!!!!!!
