Well, it's a rainy Saturday here in the epicenter of college football greatness. The combined effect of the weather and a weak opponent will mean plenty of empty seats today. This is the first home appearance of the BCS champions since last year's final home game. That ought to be reason enough for folks to brave the weather and support the team. But sadly, the fans are unlikely to come through. For this, we are in for a first class, "aight"-filled, scolding from CNS.

So they say. It's still raining but the sky is brightening a bit. I'll be there one way or another. A friend has an extra tic and asked me to join him.

According to the latest reports...rain will diminish, and start to clear this afternoon.

According to weather.com the rain should end by 2:00.

The radar shows that the back side of that system is just about to move out to the NW. Unless something else develops we should be dry for game time.

The fans showed up, but not the team.  I expect Saban to save his scolding for the players.  They'll need the motivation for Ole Miss.
