This is why the Bowns have been a mess for the past 15 years. They have 2 winning seasons since 1999. At least the Colts are competitive, so this benefits Richardson. Remember, Bill Belichick once coached the Browns, but was fired and 5 years later was hired by the Patriots. All he has done is gone to 5 Super Bowls and won 3 of them.

Agreed. I have never been much of a Browns fan. Was pulling for them because of TR. Hopefully, he will have much more opportunity with the Colts.

A good RB is useless if the rest of your team is terrible, but this is why the Browns are terrible.  They essentially traded the #3 pick in the 2012 draft for a late first round pick in the 2014 draft, and set up a league rival for a decade of championship contention in the process.  They could have traded the #3 pick for multiple 1st and 2nd round picks last year. 

Happy for Trent though.
