Tressel's is signalling his response to the NCAA.  Oh, sorry, never mind.

This is one of those "I'll believe it when I see it" scenarios, although I have to admit that I think there may be a better chance of seeing some kind of change now than there has been before, simply due to all the problems right now.

The best news for those few souls who hate Auburn (understatement intended) is that SURELY the NCAA will eventually see the need to punish the crap out of somebody.  And there are the Aubs, just standing there with multiple violations.

Don't tease me like that. Just the thought brings a smile to my face.

Let's just hope the NCAA looks at the situation at both schools and says, "Equal punishment for both.  Five years without bowls and half the scholarships."  Hey, if we're wishing, let's make it good.  Grin

I just watched College Footbal Live and they seem to think that stiffer penalties will deter a lot of this stuff. I still as all the others do, hold steady to see how they come down on tOSU. RTR!

The NCAA knows it screwed up the Cam reinstatement. I think the hammer falls on Ohio State, Oregon, and Auburn. I might be a couple of years, but it's going to happen. OSU has the bad luck to be sitting out there exposed and the NCAA wanting to make someone an example. It's gonna get ugly for OSU.

I agree on all 3.  But I think it falls on OSU first, then Aubs, then Oregon.  And I don't think it'll take more than a couple of months more.

Yeah, if the trial of the gamblers who bribed politicians in Alabama reveals major infractions with Auburn, then the NCAA will be all over Auburn.

I too agree on tOSU and Auburn. I have my doubts about Oregon. If Coach Chip Kelley keeps his nose clean it might be something minor. I see with Auburn and tOSU taking up all the media time then Oregon could be quietly cleaning their nose. Somewhere along the way the NCAA has to prove they are a bulldog on Breakers of Rules and they also have to show they have some softness to minor rule breakers. RTR!

Yeah, the NCAA is looking at "street" agents real close and that's where Oregon might be in big trouble.
