COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Texas A&M issued 736 press credentials for Saturday's game between Alabama and the Aggies.

This No. 1 Alabama team looks familiar

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – They sat together on refrigerated benches, cold air blowing, steam rising. They had just pushed Alabama downfield for the clinching touchdown – though with Johnny Football, it's never quite safe to assume that – and now A.J. McCarron was in their faces, yelling again:

"Excellent job, O-line! Excellent job!"

No one said anything back to the quarterback. They just kept chilling, enjoying a pause in a shootout. And a significant step forward in "the Process."
