Has anyone noticed the amount of unsold Barner garb?  There are literally boxes of merchandise at Academy Sports collecting dust.  I don’t remember Bama stuff hanging around like this.........Just Saying.

That's something I have always noticed when visiting a Wal-Mart, Academy, or Bama Fever/Tiger Pride over the years. The section with the Bama stuff is usually almost empty, but there is always a ton of Tiger gear around. Even my son noticed it when he was young.

That's something I have always noticed when visiting a Wal-Marks, Academy, or Bama Fever/Tiger Pride over the years. The section with the Bama stuff is usually almost empty, but there is always a ton of Tiger gear around. Even my son noticed it when he was young.

My brother in law's sister works in retail and she said it's hard to move AU merchandise but UA sells like hotcakes...and she's an AU fan.

I don't live in Alabama anymore so I don't have a lot of opportunity to buy Alabama gear in person.  The last time I tried to find something it was hard.  I hate dressing like a man but I hate some of the hoochie-ish juniors styles they have for women.  I found something I liked but it was $28 for a t-shirt...no way.  What I really want is a vintage style 3/4 sleeve t with the Big capital A with the realistic elephant coming out of it circa early 80s.  I would come off the money for that...and yes, that's incredibly specific, but if you want $28+ for a t-shirt they you are gonna have to make it perfect.

I have noticed that, too, and have always laughed to myself about it. It begs the question that I believe Bear asked on a phone call to the barn one time: "What the h---'s the matter with you people down there? Don't y'all take your football seriously?"

The discount stores like TJ Max and Ross are full of barn stuff. A clerk at a local sporting goods store told me Bama out sold Auburn 2 to 1 even with the year Auburn had.

The thing that amazes me is that prior to this season, I always saw more Bama stuff actually being worn than barn stuff. This year, the amount of Bama stuff didn't seem to change, but all of the sudden the boogs began coming out of the woodwork. I swear I could not drive or walk somewhere here in Mobile without running into that nasty orange blue.

LOL, a clearance sale. I like that, but who would want all the orange stuff? I wonder if the crystal would a slight bit tinted. RTR!
