The football team beats the crap out of UF in the Sugar Bowl. The men's basketball team wins the NC. The ladies BB team came in 2nd and now, the baseball team sweeps a great Vandy team to go to the CWS. Anyone else think that their AD, Tom Jurich, would be a great replacement for Mr. Battle when he retires?

Yes, Louisville is for real these days.  They're gearing up for joining the ACC, and should be a tough member in that conference.

Louisville has had a great year. The AD deserves a lot of the credit.

Basketball and baeball has been top 10 programs over the last few years. However, the football program has struggled most years.

He has been AD since 1997. UL plays in the Big East with an automatic BCS bid. They have been to two BCS bowls total. It should not be hard to get a BCS bowl bid playing in the Big East. Since 2006 their football records were 6-6, 5-7, 4-8, 7-6, 7-6 and 11-2. Since 1997 they did well with Bob Petrino as coach and this year.

Well they will play some of the best, lowest rated teams in the country. I have to say as far as football the ACC does not impress me at all. RTR!
