Donovan won, but I think that blowout loss to UF killed chances for Grant to win it.

Oh no doubt. Right now all the sites have UAB in the bracket and Alabama the first one out. We have to beat GA. Tenn. and GA are in and never has better record than us. RTR!

We need to beat GA today and win two in the SEC Tourny to have any chance at the NCAA IMO. Whatever happens we need to finish this year strong even if it is the NIT. The future looks bright with Coach Grant.

The afternoon sports duo here in Mobile is divided on this. Randy Kennedy seems to think that if we beat Ga. and get one win in the tourney, we are in. Pat Greenwood thinks we need to get to the champ. game. I think I am going to have to agree with PG and you, pmull. Today is a given, and we need at least two in the tourney.

Making the NCAA is what any Bama fan wants. But where our program is at a long run in the NIT may be better than one and done in the NCAA. Regardless we need to beat GA today and at least play well in the SEC Tourny.

Don"t forget if we beat GA and FL loses to Vandy we get a share of the SEC championship. That would be a nice banner to hang in Coleman.

I think when the Coach of the Year awards come from other organizations, Coach Grant will win several of them.

Especially if Florida loses tonight and we have a share of the SEC Championship.

They said during the game today that Donovan has never won SEC coach of the year. I did not realilize that with 2 NC's and all. That may help him this year.

No one expected Bama to go 12-4. That has to get CAG some major consideration when the awards are given.
