When they announced this at the softball game yesterday, Bama's dugout went crazy with joy. For those of you that don't know, Sara's daughter is a catcher on the softball team.

Earlier in the year, Bama had to go to Florida for a meet with them and Florida really beat them bad. As I read the story of the meet, I thought it's going to be a bad year for gymnastics because thay have such a young team. Never underestimate Sara and her staff, what an accomplishment for such a bad start of the season.

Congrats to the team, it's an honor that is well deserved. Roll Tide!

WOO HOO!!! Another NC for the Tide! Congrats to Coach Patterson and all the ladies on a fantastic season. Sarah Patterson is one of the classiest individuals in sports, and her teams always represent the University well. Now lets get some individual titles! I found a good article on the NCAA website. This is our first sweep of the SEC, Regional and National titles since 1988. These ladies have really had a fantastic year.

This is just not getting enough notice.  Come on!  Sarah P has won 5 NCs.  FIVE!!!  That's just one less than Bear won.

And guess who hired Sarah way back when???  Yep...it was Bear.  He really knew how to pick 'em.

Congrats to Coach Sarah and all the gymnasts.  This alum is very proud of the team.
