I don't know if he will learn from this and do a better job, but I don't think Bama needs any more west coast coordinators. Next time we hire a new OC we need to either get a good southern coach or midwestern coach who loves to run the ball. McElwain did a great job of keeping a good balance with the run & the pass. Nuss needs to break that bad habit of throwing it every single first down. And what is wrong with AJ? He played so well last year against LSU in the national title, but this year against LSU, A&M, & Georgia he played terribly. He had no pocket presence, he was holding the ball too long, and he had trouble finding his receivers. Why has he struggled so much this year? And don't say it's because of defensive pressure. Great QBs beat pressure. Bama got great pressure on Mettenberger, Manziel, and Murray, and they still played great games. AJ needs to step his game up.
